A comfortable, soothing space

to reconnect with your inner world

Cozy Counseling is a virtual therapy practice based in Connecticut, offering Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy for teens and adults.

This space was created to provide a comfortable and soothing therapy environment. Therapy is a deep form of self-care, and at Cozy Counseling, think of your sessions as a spa for your brain. You may be feeling anxious, insecure or stuck. Here, you will gain more calm, confidence, and clarity.

A Cozy Space for Looking Inward

Cozy Counseling offers Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy for teens and adults in Connecticut through virtual sessions, supporting anxiety, self-doubt, and inner conflict.

You are in the right place if…

Anxiety keeps you from doing what you want to do.

You feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt or inner conflict.

You’re navigating burnout, transitions, or feeling disconnected from who you are.

You’re seeking a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

You want a safe space for healing that goes beyond surface-level coping and helps you understand what’s happening inside.

My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I am Level 1-trained in this parts-based therapy. IFS helps you understand why anxiety, self-doubt, or inner conflict show up, not as flaws, but as protective responses shaped by your experiences.

At Cozy, we slow down and explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion, helping you build a more trusting relationship with yourself rather than trying to “fix” what feels wrong.

Therapy should be comforting, personal, and open. To me, you’re not a diagnosis or someone needing to be ‘fixed’. You’re a soul seeking clarity, and my goal is to help you find just that.

Therapy at Cozy

  • Individual therapy at Cozy Counseling is offered virtually to teens and adults in Connecticut and is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based approach that helps you understand and care for the different parts of yourself. I am Level 1-trained in IFS and use this model as the foundation of my work

Together, we explore the parts shaped by anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt with curiosity and compassion. We work together to build self-trust, emotional regulation, and inner safety. Depending on your needs, sessions may also draw from CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

  • If it feels right, journaling prompts, visualizations, and art-based reflection can be part of the process. These practices offer a new language for feelings and thoughts that words alone can’t always express.

  • For clients who are open to it, therapy can include integration of spiritual or intuitive tools alongside evidence-based approaches. With over ten years of experience with tarot, I have found it can offer a meaningful avenue for insight and self-exploration.

How to Get Started

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and we want this first step to be as easy and comfortable as possible. Cozy Counseling offers a free 15-30 minute consultation where we can meet virtually and talk about what’s bringing you here, what you’re hoping for, and any questions you may have.

By the end of our conversation, we’ll both have a better sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. If it does, we can talk about next steps. If not, I’m happy to offer referrals to support you in finding the right therapist for you.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Caitlyn Rebeschi, LCSW, therapist and founder of Cozy Counseling.

I’ve found that real healing happens when we gently explore what’s beneath daily stress and coping patterns. Because of this, I primarily work from and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach. IFS is a trauma-informed model that helps us understand and care for the different parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion.

I tend to work best with teens and adults who want to speak up and live more fully, but who have learned to stay small in order to accommodate others. Many of my clients are thoughtful and capable people who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

My passion is guiding my clients to reconnect with their inner world and embody their most authentic and empowered self. I specialize in working with sensitive teens and adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and trauma.

Together, we focus on understanding every part of your identity, healing what needs care, and letting go of patterns that are no longer serving you.

In sessions, I aim to create a space that feels calm, comfortable, and free of pressure. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome, and growth can unfold at a pace that feels right.

Outside of sessions, I enjoy painting, spending time outside, and cozy evenings with my two cats. I believe in the healing power of softness, mindfulness, and creative expression.

Ready to begin?

I offer a free 15-30 min. consultation so you can get a feel for the space and ask any questions.
